75 Ball and 90 Ball Bingo. What´s the Difference?

There are 2 basic varaitions on the game of bingo.

In the States they play a version of called 75-ball , which is played on a 5x5 card with the centre square marked 'free'.

In the UK, some of Europe, Australia and parts of South America they play a 90-ball version, which has a 9x3 card. You can find variants online and many operators such as Ladbrokes Bingo offer both types.

So whats´the difference?

75 Ball
In this variant of bingo, the pattern that you are trying to complete can vary – it can be a straight line or a more complex theme.
But your goal should be the same whatever the game- cross off the numbers to get the pattern, and yell BINGO!

90-Ball Games
In this variant, the cards have 3 lines going across and nine going down. Each with 5 numbers, so each card has fifteen numbers. The first is numbers 1-10, the 2nd 11-20, etc until the last column which holds number 81-90. 90-ball bingo is normally played in one line, two lines and Full House legs.

In a one-liner game, you have to mark a horizontal line across one card (ie five 5 numbers). In a two-liner, mark 2 lines across one card (ie ten numbers). For a Full House, all fifteen numbers have to be crossed on one bingo card.

The payout for these online bingo games vary. Obviously the Full House has the juiciest jackpot available.

The only way to really understand the difference is to have a go! Best of luck and may your numbers come in.
